Indira Gandhi National Open University will be soon starting its Cultural Programmes as well as Korean Language Course for all the candidates.
As the relation between Republic of Korea and India is unique in nature. IGNOU‘s respective regional centres will be soon availing this facility of Korean Certificate Programmes.

Recently, on Wednesday 14th March 2018, the delegation from Korean Embassy visited IGNOU and had a meeting with Vice Chancellor S B Arora. The Director Mr. Kim Kum Pyoung of India’s Korean Culture Centre thanked the IGNOU’s Prof. for their support in extending the development of Korean Language Programme.
Candidates need not to worry about the study material as the learners will be enrolling with the visual hearing content/ audio.
Eligibility- 18 years & above with 10+2 qualification
Hence, anyone aged 18 years & above with 10+2 qualification is the one eligible to take admission for this programme.
Please Note- Korean Programme is the only programme that is available in the ODL Mode or Open & Distance Learning Mode and that to the expertise provided by the Korean Embassy.
